Had fun chilling with the guys (and girls) this weekend… playing FIFA and partying and what not. Oh I miss the college life!!
I have a legitimate question.
It seems I’m in the minority of people who haven’t jumped on the Skrillex and/or Dubstep bandwagon.
Can someone please explain to me why you like it? And saying “it’s awesome” doesn’t count. I can tolerate techno, dance, house, progressive, trance, and most forms of electronic music (in fact that’s 95% of what I listen to) but I can’t wrap my head around dubstep.
Well dubstep… has its own meaning in the EDM field. Just like you have trance and its kind of soulful, dubstep is on a whole nother level, the way the notes collide and how the sub is used and the use of high frequency is like no other genre. And when you listen to dubstep (well the right kind), I guarantee you 100% of the time it would take control of your body and you would find yourself bobbing your head, stomping your feet and moving your body. Dubstep has feeling in it, it has story. Everything goes with dubstep; thats why everyone likes it.
That is why we love dubstep and continue to meditate on bassweight.
